When to go to the Seychelles?
The tropical climate of the Seychelles has a dry season and a light rainy season. Temperatures constantly hover between 25°C and 30°C throughout the year, so you can travel to the Seychelles whenever you like. However, choosing the transitional months between each season - April to late June and mid-September to mid-November - offers dry, sunny weather with little wind.
In this Indian Ocean archipelago, the tropical climate, and average air and sea temperatures of 27°C allow for year-round travel. The rainy season starts in October and ends in March, with January being the wettest month. During this period, a humid atmosphere and a higher temperatures set in. The cool season extends from April to September bringing winds from the south-east that are ideal for lovers of windsurfing.
Ideally, plan your trip to the Seychelles during the low season between the end of April to the end of June or mid-September to mid-November to take full advantage of the best weather and to avoid the crowds in December, July and August.
