When to go to Benin?
For a trip to Benin, it is best to go between November and March which ties in with the dry season. Temperatures border on 33°C in the north with peaks of up to 40°C and 30°C in the south near Cotonou. The sea temperature in the Bight of Benin of around 27°C changes very little and allows for swimming all year round. Do be careful when steering boats here, which can be dangerous in certain places.
