When to go to Antigua and Barbuda?
Located off the coast of Guadeloupe, the Antigua and Barbuda islands possess a hot and humid tropical climate which is characterised by consistent temperatures all throughout the year. From January to April, the weather is drier, while there is considerably more moisture between the months of June and November.
The wet season, from June to November, is still very warm, with maximum temperatures changing little at 30-31°C, and minimum temperatures being at around 25°C. There is a very large amount of sunshine despite the rainfall which is more frequent, especially at the end of the day. This rain nevertheless only lasts for a short time.
The dry season, from December to May, is perfect for enjoying the white sand beaches – unrivalled in their beauty – and for swimming in the crystal clear waters of this genuine tropical paradise. Temperatures go from 29°C in December to 30°C in the months of April and May. Minimum temperatures never fall below 22°C. February and March are the driest months and are among the sunniest.
